October’s theme: What does it mean to be a people of belonging?
10:30 am in the Sanctuary
October 20 - "A Seat at the Table" with Rev. Joanna Lubkin
There's a difference between "all are welcome" and "this was created with you in mind." The late UU musician, Herb Tyson, wrote lyrics that say, "Our doors are open, and our hearts are too. Whoever you are, we’ve been expecting you." Together, we'll explore ways we can convey that sense that we've saved a place at the table for you -- whoever you are.
October 20 Guest Musicians:
Prelude- Georg Philip Teleman - Allegro TWV 40: 107
Offertory- Fernando Sor - Duo in A Major: Andante
Postlude- Fernando Sor - Duo in A Major: Allegretto
Raley Beggs and Carl Straussner, Guitar
October 27 - A People of Belonging
This service, connecting congregant to congregant, gives us time to explore ideas of connection, community, friendship, and welcome.
The assistive listening devices available for use during service were purchased from funds donated in memory of the late Larry Fogg, a much-loved, long time member of All Souls Church. A brief recording of Larry Fogg on Native American flute can be heard HERE
Larry's music is available for purchase HERE
