Weddings
All Souls Church welcomes you to hold your wedding ceremony in our Sanctuary. With its cathedral ceiling and stone exterior, our church provides a dramatic yet peaceful setting.
We embrace many faiths and lifestyle choices; weddings are in the Unitarian Universalist tradition of being open and affirming to all. In addition to weddings of Unitarian Universalists, we also perform weddings for people of other faiths and interfaith weddings, as well as same-sex weddings. You do not have to be a member of our congregation to use our Sanctuary and there is no requirement that you be Unitarian Universalist. However, the service must be respectful of the space and a meeting with a church official is required.
You may use your own officiant or arrange for the services of our minister, the Reverend Joanna Lubkin. To have our minister, Rev. Joanna, officiate your wedding, please visit her website at www.reverendjo.com to learn more. (Ministerial services and payment are arranged separately from the sanctuary rental).
The building has a handicap accessible entrance with ramp on the right hand side of the building. We have two single-stall, all-gender restrooms, one of which is ADA compliant with a baby changing station. There is a small parking lot behind the church on Charles Street.
Please email the office or call 781-843-1388 to schedule a visit to see the church or for more information. Best time for an appointment is Sunday at 11:30 am. A $100 deposit and signed agreement are required to secure the rental. Payment in full must be received no later than one week before the event.

Receptions and use of Parish Hall
Our parish hall (pictured below) is available for receptions and collations. Use of rectangular tables and folding chairs are included by prior arrangement. We also host concerts. There is enough seating for 80 persons comfortably.
(Decorations in the hall photos below were placed by the renters and are not included in the rental.)
We have a well-equipped kitchen on site with large work island, four ovens, refrigerator/freezer, double sink and commercial dishwasher. Outside caterers must be licensed with the town of Braintree by town law. Serving Liquor requires the use of a licensed bartender and prior approval from All Souls Church must be obtained.
Fees for rental of the parish hall for a reception or collation requires the rental of the hall and kitchen at $100 per hour with a three-hour minimum. Renter may cover bulletin boards for their event. A custodial fee may also apply.
The parish hall may also be rented for meetings, concerts and conferences.
Please note that the hall and kitchen must be rented for parties and is always necessary if refreshments are to be served. The fee is $100 per hour.
Our small meeting room (the Elliott Room) is available for small groups to meet by special arrangement.
Please contact our office for more information.
