Weddings
All Souls Church welcomes you to hold your wedding ceremony in our Sanctuary. With its cathedral ceiling and stone exterior, our church provides a dramatic yet peaceful setting. We embrace many faiths and lifestyle choices; weddings are in the Unitarian Universalist tradition of being open and affirming to all. In addition to weddings of Unitarian Universalists, we also perform weddings for people of other faiths and interfaith weddings, as well as same-sex weddings. You do not have to be a member of our congregation to use our Sanctuary and there is no requirement that you be Unitarian Universalist. However, the service must be respectful of the space and a meeting with a church official is required.
You may use your own officiant or arrange for the services of our minister, the Reverend Clyde Grubbs, Minister. If you would like to be married by our minister, you will be required to meet with him. (His services and payment are arranged separately from the sanctuary rental).
Please email for our wedding rate sheet and information. A $100 deposit and signed agreement are required to secure the rental. Payment in full must be received no later than one week before the event.
The building has a handicap accessible entrance with ramp on the right hand side of the building. We have two restrooms, one of which is gender-neutral and ADA compliant with a baby changing station. There is a small parking lot behind the church on Charles Street.

Receptions and use of Parish Hall
Our parish hall (pictured below) is available for receptions and collations. Use of rectangular tables and folding chairs included by prior arrangements. We also host concerts. There is enough seating for 100 persons.
(Decorations in the hall photos were placed by the renters and are not included in the rental.)
We have a well-equipped kitchen on site with large work area, four ovens, and commercial dishwasher. Outside caterers must be licensed with the town of Braintree by town law. Serving Liquor requires the use of a licensed bartender and prior approval from All Souls Church must be obtained.
Fees for rental of the parish hall for a reception or collation requires the rental of the hall and kitchen at $100 per hour with a three-hour minimum. A custodial fee may also apply.
The parish hall may also be rented for meetings and conferences.
Please contact our office for more information.
