Dear Friends, We wanted to give you a heads up that there may be some travel disruption if you're planning to visit the church in the upcoming days. You may have already noticed some detours in the area. The reason for this disruption is road work being carried out on Elm Street. Here are the details:
Please note: If there's heavy rain, the work will be postponed. However, if it's just a drizzle, the work will continue as planned. Thank you for your understanding and patience during this time. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out. This Sunday we celebrate the vibrant diversity of the LGBTQIA+ community and the liberating power of love, acceptance, and authenticity
Our very own Music Director, Jacob Clapper, will be performing several pieces by Gershwin in the Piano Faculty Recital at the South Shore Conservatory at 4 pm on Saturday, June 8, 2024. This free concert will be held indoors at Cox Hall, on the SSC Hingham Campus at One Conservatory Drive. All are welcome!

May 5 at 10:30 am We begin with a welcome and a chalice lighting, after which we enjoy food and fellowship. Please bring a dish to share; an ingredient list is helpful in case of allergies. This is a special lay-led service for connection, reflection, and inspiration designed to give us a chance to reflect individually, to know our fellow travelers on life’s journey, and to let ourselves be known. All are welcome. REMINDER
Please Submit Annual Reports by May 5 Annual reports are due on Sunday, May 5, from those in leadership or those who chair groups and committees at All Souls Church. Please email them to the church office at [email protected]. For reference, a copy of last year’s annual report can be viewed on the member page of the website or one can be obtained by emailing the church office. The old, light colored scratched piano with the sticky keys is no longer in the Parish hall. It has been replaced by a much better looking and better sounding one that for years belonged to Rick Anderson that has been donated to the church by Don Swanson. We look forward to hearing Jacob perform on this piano at upcoming Food for the Soul services. The expenses associated with this improvement totaled $750. This covered the moving cost of getting the piano to All Souls, the moving cost of getting the old piano out of All Souls, and the tuning cost. Before any request was made for the funding of these special expenses, three people have already stepped up with offers of donations. Anyone else who would like to be part of this one time project funding should send or give their contribution to our treasurer, Mary Mitchell. Your donations will be gratefully received: church funds will cover any shortfall between the final donation total and the expense total. Please note that Michael Domina’s watercolor has been hung in the Parish hall. Potluck supper and thinking cap game. It’s time to gather with friends, enjoy delicious, food, and flex those mental muscles Saturday, April 13 at 6:30 PM in the parish hall at AllSouls Braintree.
